Privacy policy

Arcens (KvK: [to be registered]) operates arcens.nl. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch UAVG.

What data we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect: your name, email address, institution name and the message you submit. We use this to respond to your enquiry.

When you use the AI advisor, your conversation messages are processed by our API. We do not store conversation history beyond the active session.

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics by default. If this changes, we will update this policy and request consent.

How we use your data

  • Contact form submissions: to respond to your enquiry and, if relevant, follow up on a potential engagement. We do not add you to marketing lists without explicit consent.
  • AI advisor messages: processed in real time to generate responses. Not stored or used for model training.

Data retention

Contact form data is retained for up to 24 months or until you request deletion, whichever is earlier.

The Arcens AI advisor is powered by Claude (Anthropic). Responses are generated based on available information and may contain errors or omissions. Do not make regulatory decisions solely on the basis of AI advisor output. Arcens accepts no liability for decisions made on the basis of AI advisor responses.

Intellectual property

All content on arcens.nl — including text, design and code — is the property of Arcens unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce or redistribute content without written permission.
